This wood is from a local, black walnut, yard tree of large size that was saved from the chipper.
Notes
This large black walnut log was live sawn from top to bottom in all consecutive cuts, also called "book matched." There are 7 pieces @ 16" wide, 1 @ 13" wide, and 1 @ 10" wide. All are 10' long X 8/4 rough-sawn. Further millwork can be done to these pieces, if desired by the customer.
